Mobile Mechanical Pump Engineer – Bristol

About the role

Selwood Limited is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Pump Engineer (Mobile Fitter) for its Bristol branch. You will carry out diesel engine and pump maintenance on customer sites and in the workshop, joining a 24/7 call‑out rota with standby and overtime allowances.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diesel engine and pump maintenance safely, adhering to PPE requirements.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers, obtaining site signatures for task processing.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, vehicles, and complete daily vehicle defect reports.
• Execute tasks according to instructions or training within agreed timeframes.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Passion for learning and a desire for a long‑term career in the pump industry.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience working with engines or mechanical pumps.
