Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical

About the role

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical to support installation, maintenance and repair tasks across a range of sites in Milton Keynes. You will work both independently and as part of a safety‑focused team, ensuring all work is completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration and alignment tasks.
• Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs and update maintenance work orders.
• Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures – no live working permitted.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attend toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant and controls.
• Professional, respectful and confident in raising safety concerns.

Required skills

• BS 7671 (18th Edition) certification.
• Electrical installations and wiring.
• Testing and fault diagnosis.
• Operation of electrical test equipment.
• Lockout/tagout procedures.
• Knowledge of plant and control systems.
