Mobile Plant Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer to join a leading international construction equipment manufacturer. The role is field‑based, travelling from your home to customer sites across Yorkshire and the surrounding region to fault‑find, service, repair and maintain heavy plant machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain industry‑leading crushing, screening and quarry plant equipment.
• Travel door‑to‑door to customer locations, providing timely fault‑finding and technical support.
• Complete detailed service reports and ensure equipment is returned to full operational condition.
• Participate in specialist training courses and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with heavy plant equipment (screening, crushing, quarry).
• NVQ or equivalent qualification in Heavy Plant engineering.
• Multi‑skilled engineer capable of independent field work.

Required skills

• Heavy Plant equipment operation and maintenance.
• Screening equipment servicing.
• Crushing equipment repair.
• Quarry plant machinery fault finding.
