Mobile Water Treatment Engineer – Tier 3

About the role

Gold Group Ltd is seeking a Mobile Water Treatment Engineer (Tier 3) to deliver water‑hygiene services across Sussex and Hampshire. The role is fully mobile, supporting a large facilities‑management client base with a focus on compliance and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the company’s Water Compliance team as a Tier 3 technician/engineer.
• Perform temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, and cold‑water storage tank inspections and cleaning.
• Carry out cooling‑tower cleaning, disinfection, and TMV servicing.
• Conduct water sampling, LTHW system testing, dosing of inhibitors/biocides, and steam‑boiler testing.
• Service water softeners, execute plumbing remedial works, and complete PPM visits.
• Maintain accurate L8 logbooks and submit work reports via day‑works sheets or Planon.
• Liaise with schedulers, contract administrators and suppliers for material procurement.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in water hygiene or treatment.
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, Heating (Closed Loops) or Chemistry.
• Legionella Awareness training and thorough knowledge of relevant regulations (L8 ACOP, HSG274, etc.).
• Ability to work independently, build client trust and collaborate with technical teams.
