Modern Foreign Languages Teacher – French/Spanish

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to hire a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher specialising in French and/or Spanish. This full‑time, long‑term role starts in September and offers the chance to inspire learners across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French and/or Spanish lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Foster a love of languages and cultural awareness among students.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Languages department.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching French and/or Spanish in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Passion for language learning and raising student attainment.

Required skills

• Effective classroom management.
• Clear communication with students, staff, and parents.
