Modern Foreign Languages Teacher – Leeds (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role
Academics is seeking a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher for a secondary school in North Leeds, starting September 2026. You will work with KS3 and KS4 students, helping them develop language proficiency and confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality MFL lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement.
- Collaborate with curriculum colleagues, sharing ideas and resources.
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour management in line with school policy.
Required profile
- Previous experience teaching languages at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.
- A degree relevant to Modern Foreign Languages.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
