About the role

Methods Business and Digital Technology Limited is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to design and deliver enterprise‑scale infrastructure solutions for public‑sector and private‑sector clients. You will work closely with customers to translate business objectives into robust Microsoft‑based technology implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical designs for modern workplace solutions.
• Deliver architecture and end‑to‑end implementation of Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions meet security, compliance and performance standards.
• Produce high‑quality design and proposal documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within project delivery.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter able to prioritize complex work in a fast‑changing environment.
• Results‑oriented with a focus on delivering organisational benefit.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and lead technically on projects.
• Strong conceptual and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to obtain or already hold SC security clearance.
• Microsoft Expert Level exams and certifications, plus Subject Matter Expert credentials.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud Platform (Azure, security, services).
• Ability to create technical designs and deploy solutions without guidance.
