Mortgage Administrator – Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking a Mortgage Administrator to support the mortgage process within a reputable financial services organisation. This fixed‑term position, based in London, offers a hybrid working model and requires a detail‑oriented professional with strong organisational abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a busy pre‑offer pipeline of mortgage applications.
• Collaborate closely with the Underwriting team to progress applications efficiently and accurately.
• Assess all documents against internal manuals, policies, procedures and criteria.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Respond to customer queries with the aim of first‑time resolution.
• Meet key performance indicators and service level targets.
• Identify potential issues and propose suitable solutions or process improvements.

Required profile

• Customer service experience.
• Understanding of data protection, Money Laundering and treating customers fairly regulations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
