Mortgage Adviser – Colchester

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Adviser to join our team in Colchester. The role is self‑employed and offers a steady flow of qualified leads, generous commission splits and access to a wide range of mortgage products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of mortgage and protection applications for clients in the Colchester area.
• Work with a network of introducers to source new business opportunities.
• Provide accurate mortgage proposals on a whole‑of‑market basis, including exclusive products.
• Ensure all submissions meet regulatory and compliance standards with support from the compliance team.
• Maintain detailed records and liaise with lenders, solicitors and clients throughout the process.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 18 months’ experience in mortgage and protection sales.
• Proven ability to generate and close mortgage deals.
• Strong understanding of UK mortgage regulations and products.
