About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join a busy estate agency in Romford. You will work directly with residential buyers, offering tailored mortgage and protection advice throughout the home‑buying journey while benefiting from a steady flow of internally generated leads.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mortgage and protection advice that meets each client’s individual needs.
• Manage mortgage applications from the initial enquiry through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, guiding them through every stage of the process.
• Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with estate‑agency colleagues to maximise referral opportunities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while meeting personal sales targets.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualification.
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Consultant.
• Proven ability to provide mortgage and protection advice.
• Strong sales, relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, target‑driven environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
