Mortgage Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Advisor to join our team in Gloucester. You will work with qualified client leads supplied by an estate agency, providing tailored mortgage and protection advice while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised mortgage and protection advice to clients.
• Conduct detailed fact‑findings and affordability assessments.
• Recommend suitable mortgage and protection products and manage applications from enquiry to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with estate‑agency colleagues to maximise referrals.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with FCA and internal standards.
• Achieve sales, service and compliance targets.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification).
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage & Protection Advisor.
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgages and the home‑buying process.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised with great attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and meet targets.
• Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification).
