Mortgage Case Manager

About the role

The Mortgage Case Manager will manage residential and Buy‑to‑Let mortgage enquiries from initial application through to completion. Working within a focused team, you will help the business meet its targets by processing cases efficiently and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and lenders.

Key responsibilities

• Process mortgage applications end‑to‑end, liaising with brokers, lenders, legal teams and surveyors.
• Collect fees from clients and brokers where required.
• Accurately capture client data in the company CRM and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Follow the company sales process and CPD log requirements.
• Make customer‑care calls to brokers to smooth processing and answer queries.
• Use the CRM to set review dates for completed loans and generate resale opportunities.
• Attend internal sales and lender meetings to stay updated on market conditions.
• Maintain continuous dialogue with brokers and third parties throughout each application.
• Interpret client documentation to assess suitability for lenders.
• Create and manage lender‑specific checklists within the CRM.
• Report suspicious activity promptly and assist with AML checks when needed.

Required profile

• Motivated, dynamic and able to thrive in a pressured environment.
• Excellent organisational abilities and strong computer proficiency.
• Minimum two years’ experience in the financial services sector.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Forward‑thinking with the ability to propose innovative solutions.

Required skills

• Proficient use of CRM systems.

• Salary up to £30,000 per year, dependent on experience.
