MOT Tester / Service Technician (Temporary, Weymouth)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified MOT Tester / Service Technician to join our client in Weymouth on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent. The role involves conducting MOT tests, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
• Service, diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status and recommendations.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.

Required profile

• Valid MOT Tester Certification (Class 4 & 7).
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven mechanical experience with strong diagnostic abilities.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Attention to detail and ability to work well within a team.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £17.00 – £18.50 (DOE)
• Monday‑Friday 08:00‑17:30 schedule, with optional Saturday OT.
