Motor Trade Account Handler

About the role

We are looking for a Motor Trade Account Handler to manage a portfolio of motor trade clients, ensuring their commercial insurance needs are met efficiently and accurately. The role sits within a well‑established insurance business that values technical expertise and offers clear career development pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Account Executives to prepare quotes, renewals and policy adjustments for motor trade customers.
• Maintain accurate client records and process all documentation and financial transactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with motor dealers, garages, recovery operators and other motor trade businesses.
• Identify gaps in cover and propose additional products to protect clients fully.
• Handle mid‑term changes and provide support for claims where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance account handling with a focus on motor trade.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, client‑focused attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to high‑quality service.
