Motor Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester – South West London

About the role

Join a franchised automotive dealership in Wimbledon as a Motor Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester. You will deliver high‑quality vehicle maintenance and MOT testing, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in accordance with UK regulations.
• Diagnose, repair and service a wide range of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate service records and issue test certificates.
• Support the workshop team with technical advice and parts ordering.
• Participate in ongoing training, including IMI Level 3 Electric Vehicle Maintenance.

Required profile

• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership environment.
• MOT testing qualification is desirable.
