Multi Route Partner – Parcel Delivery

About the role

The Multi Route Partner role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Darlington, England. You will manage multiple delivery routes, ensuring parcels are collected, sorted and delivered accurately and on time while representing DPD professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Plan efficient delivery sequences for multiple routes.
• Follow DPD operational processes and safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with depot staff and customers.
• Handle documentation and scanning requirements for each parcel.
• Navigate varying traffic and weather conditions to meet tight deadlines.
• Support colleagues to maintain high service levels.

Required profile

• Experience in multi‑drop or route‑based delivery operations, preferably in parcel or logistics services.
• Strong route planning, time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Reliable driving record and ability to operate delivery vehicles safely.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Comfort with handheld devices and basic digital tools for parcel tracking.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks in line with health‑and‑safety guidance.
• Proactive problem‑solving and flexibility to work varied hours, including peak periods and possible weekend shifts.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to complete background or driving‑record checks.
