Multi-Skilled Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing company in Poole. The role involves maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure high reliability and efficiency across a 12‑hour Panama shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical plant assets.
• Guarantee that all engineering work complies with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimise downtime.
• Record all maintenance activities in the company’s CMMS.
• Interpret and update engineering drawings and documentation.
• Supervise external contractors and enforce company procedures.

Required profile

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of production processes and equipment.
