Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (4-on-4-off – Days/Nights)

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical focus to join a leading FMCG manufacturing site in Pontypool. The role operates on a 4‑on‑4‑off days/nights shift pattern, delivering both reactive and preventative maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive maintenance to resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programmes to minimise unplanned downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control systems on a busy FMCG production line.
• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
• Participate in specialist training to develop technical expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer with a strong electrical bias.
• Live commutable to Pontypool (or surrounding areas).
• Willingness to work a 4‑on‑4‑off days/nights shift schedule.
