Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Day Shift (FMCG)

About the role

Are you a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar, looking for a varied role at a renowned food manufacturer that has recently invested heavily in its machinery and site? Do you want to work in a purpose‑built facility with specialist, current‑generation equipment on set day shifts, while gaining on‑the‑job training and engineering qualifications?

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and diagnose faults on a range of production machinery such as flow wrappers, ultrasonic cutters and conveyor systems.
• Carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, balancing planned and urgent work.
• Implement equipment improvements to reduce downtime and boost production efficiency.
• Support the engineering team in day‑to‑day troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production setting and adhere to the Panama day shift (5:30 am‑5:30 pm).
• Willingness to commute to Middlesbrough.
