Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Double Days Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established food manufacturing site in Gloucester. The role offers a stable, set‑hour schedule with no overtime, allowing you to plan your personal life around a predictable work week.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production equipment, including conveyors, packaging lines, roller mills and purifiers.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure machinery is returned to service promptly.
• Work a double‑days rotating shift (6 am‑3 pm or 1 pm‑10 pm) with a 30‑minute unpaid break.
• Participate in a 1‑in‑3 on‑call rota covering nights (10 pm‑6 am) as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to commute to Gloucester.
• Willingness to work the specified shift pattern and occasional night call‑outs.
