Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

About the role

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a well‑established international packaging manufacturer. The role is based at the Thatcham site and involves both reactive and planned maintenance of a wide range of packaging production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and preventive maintenance on corrugators, flexo‑folder gluers, flat‑bed die cutters, boilers, strappers, wrappers and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to maximise equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Support plant upgrades and modifications in line with investment programmes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Electrical qualification – minimum Level 3.
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Electrical qualification (Level 3).
• PLC fault‑finding experience with Siemens S5/S7 platforms.
• Allen Bradley RSLogix 500 programming knowledge.
