Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical focus to join a manufacturing operation in Leeds. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Thursday 7:30‑16:30 and Friday 6:30‑16:30, providing hands‑on support for a wide range of production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical plant.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and fault‑find electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) where applicable.
• Carry out routine mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety policies and statutory inspections for all production equipment.

Required profile

• NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Maintenance.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in PPM programmes and breakdown response.
• Experience with PLC fault finding is desirable.
• Previous roles may include Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Automation Engineer, etc.
