Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading fresh‑produce supplier in Tonbridge. The role involves both mechanical and electrical maintenance within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment, supporting continuous production and minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs and improvements.
• Execute project‑based installations and continuous improvement works.
• Adhere to health & safety, food safety and electrical wiring standards.
• Work a 4‑week shift rotation, including one weekend in four.

Required profile

• Qualified Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer with FMCG experience.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and a “right first‑time” attitude.
• Familiarity with 18 Edition electrical wiring standards and industrial machine control.
• Willingness to develop skills through training and development programmes.
