Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Motors & Pumps)

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established engineering firm in Avonmouth, Bristol. You will work in a manufacturing environment, primarily maintaining and repairing AC/DC motors and pumps, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and fault‑find a range of mechanical and electrical equipment, focusing on motors and pumps.
• Carry out repairs, preventative maintenance and technical adjustments.
• Provide technical advice to the workshop team and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to all health, safety and quality procedures.
• Participate in overtime and on‑call duties as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role working with AC and DC motors.
• Hands‑on experience with pump systems and general industrial plant equipment.
• Solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical principles.
• Ability to work independently within a Monday‑Friday, days‑based schedule.
