Multi Skilled Operative – Housing Repairs

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused Multi Skilled Operative to join our responsive repairs team, delivering high‑quality maintenance across social housing properties in West London. You will work independently on a variety of trades, ensuring residents receive safe, efficient, and professional service in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs in occupied social housing.
• Repair or replace skirting boards, architraves, internal doors, locks and hinges.
• Install and adjust kitchen units, worktops and cupboard doors.
• Fix minor plumbing issues such as leaks and blockages.
• Perform patch plastering, wall and ceiling make‑good.
• Execute wall and floor tiling repairs, including grouting and sealing.
• Complete painting and decorating to a professional finish.
• Record job details, materials used and completion notes.
• Maintain equipment and a company vehicle in good order.
• Participate in an out‑of‑hours emergency repair rota when required.

Required profile

• Experience in plastering and other domestic repairs across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting).
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Own tools and a full UK manual driving licence.
