Multi-Skilled Operative

About the role

We are seeking Multi‑Skilled Operatives to join our Voids team and deliver high‑quality repairs, maintenance and property improvements across homes in South East England. The role is hands‑on and varied, with each day bringing different challenges across a range of trades.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works in void properties to bring homes up to standard.
• Perform multi‑trade tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating, and general repairs.
• Undertake larger refurbishment projects, working independently or within a small team.
• Assess properties, determine effective solutions and ensure work is completed right the first time.
• Use mobile technology to manage jobs and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in a core trade such as Carpentry (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2) or Plumbing (NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds Level 3) or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience in both carpentry and plumbing.
• Proven ability to deliver a wide range of repairs and refurbishment work to a high standard.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work across different properties and support wider teams.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently.
