Multi-Trade Carpenter / Plumber

About the role

We are looking for a Multi‑Trade Carpenter / Plumber to join our client’s team in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. The role involves carrying out a variety of repair and maintenance tasks in a reactive environment, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on customers’ properties, meeting quality standards.
• Assess work requirements on site and complete tasks efficiently.
• Communicate with the Call Centre and service coordinators to receive job details and provide updates.
• Adhere to company safety procedures and safe working practices at all times.
• Work independently while also assisting other trades when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in carpentry or plumbing, with additional trade skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Customer‑focused approach and ability to work under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scaffold.
