Multi Trade Operative – Islington, North London

About the role

We are seeking a Multi Trade Operative to deliver first‑class maintenance and repair services across properties in Islington, Highbury and surrounding North London areas. The role involves a variety of specialist and secondary trades and requires efficient, deadline‑driven work.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, responsive repairs and void works for residential properties.
• Perform property MOTs and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Manage a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, kitchen and bathroom fitting, tiling and flooring.
• Complete tasks within agreed timeframes while maintaining high customer‑care standards.
• Utilise company‑provided van and tools responsibly for work purposes.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and complete required documentation.

Required profile

• Reliable, experienced trade operative with a proven track record in multiple trades.
• Valid UK driving licence (company vehicle will be provided).
• Eligibility for a basic criminal record check.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.

• Salary range £34,359 – £42,759 per year.
