Multi-Trade Operative

About the role

We are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Property Services team in Rochford, covering the South East region. The role involves a mix of construction, fault fixing and maintenance tasks, working both as part of a team and independently.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.
• Maintain and restock tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition.
• Respond to complaints and breakdowns, resolve issues and keep customers informed.
• Provide accurate and timely progress updates to customers.

Required profile

• Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core trade (carpentry, electrical) – Plumbing Level 3 required for plumbing roles.
• Hold an Unvented‑G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS) certification.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and plan ahead.
