Multi‑site Health & Safety Coordinator

About the role

The Multi‑site Health & Safety Coordinator will support Sytner Group’s Select Division by visiting a network of automotive retail sites, ensuring health and safety standards are met and continuous improvement is driven.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits across Wakefield, Nottingham, Northampton, Swindon, Bristol and Cardiff.
• Identify health and safety improvement opportunities and work with local stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Ensure actions arising from Regional H&S Advisor visits, third‑party audits and risk assessments are completed and closed.
• Deliver toolbox talks, coaching and support to colleagues to promote a safety‑first culture.
• Maintain accurate records using electronic health and safety platforms.

Required profile

• Experience or knowledge of retail automotive health and safety (advantageous but not essential).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays.
• Good understanding of current health and safety legislation and a commitment to learn Sytner’s internal standards.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
