Multi‑Skilled Craftsperson (Electrical Bias)

About the role

You will join the estates team of a large NHS Trust, delivering flexible and efficient repair and maintenance services for electrical and mechanical plant across a variety of hospital environments, from wards and theatres to manufacturing and office areas.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing on hospital equipment and plant.
• Perform statutory inspections within your delegated area and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Respond to on‑call duties, attending the hospital within the required timeframe when required.
• Use your own vehicle and hold a valid driving licence for travel between sites.
• Maintain clear communication with the estates team and other hospital departments.

Required profile

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Basic IT proficiency for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to undertake on‑call responsibilities.
