Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our Greenwich Care Homes team in London. The role is permanent and involves travelling between care home sites to ensure the buildings remain safe, functional and welcoming for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and compliance tasks, including Legionella testing.
• Diagnose and repair faults in building systems such as HVAC, electrical installations and plumbing.
• Perform fabric maintenance work, including carpentry, painting and general repairs.
• Support small refurbishment projects and coordinate activities with sub‑contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using digital devices and our online system.

Required profile

• Electrical qualification – Level 3 in Electrical Installations, C&G 236, 2391‑52 or 18th Edition.
• Proven experience in multi‑skilled maintenance covering mechanical and fabric work.
• Comfortable using digital tools to log work activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a facilities management team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality service in a care‑home environment.
