Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

We are seeking two Multi‑Skilled Engineers to join our estates and facilities team, supporting critical infrastructure across sites in Dover, Folkestone and Ashford. You will maintain key building services, ensuring that mechanical and electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational in a busy, technically challenging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for a wide range of building services plant and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify faults across both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems, boilers, air handling units, BMS controls, electrical distribution systems and water services.
• Support minor installations, refurbishments and improvement projects.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime.

Required profile

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a complex engineering or maintenance environment.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities across M&E systems.
• Knowledge of compliance, maintenance standards and health and safety legislation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
• Full UK driving licence.
