Multiskilled Fabricator – Full Training & Career Progression

About the role

We are seeking Multiskilled Fabricators to join our client’s production team on the outskirts of Braintree. The role offers full on‑the‑job training and a clear pathway into the construction and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble steel frame components using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to measure, mark and cut materials accurately.
• Install insulation, wall panels, windows and doors, and cut openings for services.
• Manufacture and assemble floor, wall and roof panels to specification and quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain safe and efficient working practices and support other production areas as needed.

Required profile

• Practical mindset with reliability and punctuality.
• Interest in construction, manufacturing or production.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to work physically and handle manual handling tasks.
• Strong awareness of health and safety.
