About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing site in Salisbury on a 4‑on‑4‑off day shift pattern. The role offers a competitive salary of £46,000 per year, specialist training and clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment across mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure minimal downtime for production lines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to reliability programmes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance with health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Ability to work on a 4‑on‑4‑off day shift schedule.
• Willingness to travel or commute from surrounding towns such as Andover, Winchester, Warminster, Southampton and others.
