About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging, is expanding its engineering team in Runcon. They are looking for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy workshop on a Monday‑Friday day‑shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on production and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure equipment returns to service quickly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Proven electrical maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
• Willingness to travel to the Runcorn site each working day.
