Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Days Shift

About the role

Join a leading manufacturer in Clevedon as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer working double‑day shifts (6‑2 / 2‑10) with no night duties. You will support a variety of production and process equipment, helping the site move from reactive to proactive maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support to meet production targets by correcting, preventing, and eliminating equipment issues.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery.
• Perform electrical fault finding on sensors, drives, control systems and within panels.
• Support basic PLC fault diagnosis and diagnostics.
• Execute mechanical maintenance on conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps and other production equipment.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities and small project work.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding capability, especially with 3‑phase systems, drives, relays and control systems.
• Basic PLC knowledge (ideal but not essential).
• Mechanical experience with bearings, gearboxes, pumps and conveyors.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
