Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a market‑leading manufacturing company in Widnes. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key part in keeping the production facility operating smoothly through both planned and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) across a range of machinery.
• Perform facilities work and support plant utilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Operate within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, covering double‑day shifts (06:00‑14:00 or 14:00‑22:00).

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing.
• Strong motivation and a commitment to continuous skill development.
