Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a thriving manufacturing business in Witham. You will become part of a close‑knit engineering team responsible for keeping modern production machinery running efficiently through planned maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Participate in shared on‑call rota and occasional weekend maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.

Required profile

• Proven multi‑skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Background in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to carry out electrical fault finding.
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 3/NVQ/HNC or 18th Edition certification.
