Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

About the role

As a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer at KP Snacks, you will keep production equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably. Working on‑site at the Tyrrells Court Farm site, you will use both electrical and mechanical expertise to diagnose faults, minimise downtime and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Respond to breakdowns by quickly diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement opportunities to boost reliability and performance.
• Provide engineering expertise and technical support across production areas.
• Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades and capital maintenance planning.

Required profile

• A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of industrial systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and safe working practices.
• Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach.
