Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Operative – £39k + Van

About the role

We are expanding our Maintenance Officer team to deliver high‑quality service across key‑worker and student accommodation in Oxfordshire. The role involves a mix of compliance checks, small‑scale repairs and supporting property managers on a full‑time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out compliance checks such as water‑meter readings, flushing void properties and basic electrical checks.
• Complete minor repairs (typically 15 minutes or less) including plumbing, carpentry and decorating tasks.
• Move items between sites and provide assistance to property managers as required.
• Ensure all compliance requirements for key‑worker and student properties are met.
• Deliver excellent customer care and maintain high service standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a handyperson or site maintenance officer.
• Background in social housing maintenance (essential).
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 points.
• Ability to bring own tools (company van and uniform provided).
• Good physical health, flexibility and a proactive mindset.
