Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our busy production facility on a permanent night‑shift roster (4 days on, 4 days off). The role is hands‑on, focused on minimising downtime, improving reliability and ensuring that all machinery runs safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly and effectively to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
• Diagnose faults on production machinery and implement permanent fixes.
• Work on motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors and control systems.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement and reliability projects.

Required profile

• Multi‑skilled with both mechanical and electrical competence.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, reliable and safety‑focused.
