Multi‑Skilled Operator – Base Supply (12‑hr Shifts)

About the role

Join Yeo Valley’s Base Supply Team at the Cannington facility as a Multi‑Skilled Operator. You will be responsible for preparing and mixing milk, the essential base for our yogurts, desserts and ice‑cream, ensuring quality and timely supply to downstream production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain milk mixing systems and associated equipment.
• Follow mixing recipes and production schedules accurately.
• Conduct routine quality checks and keep batch records.
• Collaborate with production and QA teams to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation and general plant support.

Required profile

• Good team‑working skills.
• Ability to undertake manual tasks.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective communication.
• Relevant experience as a machine operator in a production environment.

Required skills

• Operation of milk mixing systems.
• Basic food hygiene.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
• Engineering skillset.
