Multi‑Skilled Operator – Mining Services

About the role

Mackellar, the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine in Queensland, is expanding its team. We are seeking experienced multi‑skilled operators to join a 7/7 FIFO roster and support production at the Galilee Basin site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large dozers and haul trucks on a daily basis.
• Operate at least one additional machine such as a water truck, grader, small digger or 980 loader.
• Maintain safety standards and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Work within the onsite village, camp, pit and airport areas, all located within five minutes of each other.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a mining environment operating large dozers and haul trucks.
• RII competency (or verified within the past five years).
• Current Standard 11 certification and a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and a team‑focused attitude.
