Multi‑Task Warehouse Operative – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking a motivated Multi‑Task Warehouse Operative for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract at its Glasgow site. You will join a fast‑paced team supporting a key customer, working a flexible 5‑day shift pattern starting at 07:00.

Key responsibilities

• Work safely and in line with GXO health and safety policies.
• Perform a range of warehouse duties including product handling, housekeeping and operating a forklift.
• Use GXO and customer IT systems for accurate documentation and reporting.
• Support efficient site operations through teamwork, flexibility (including overtime) and meeting attendance standards.
• Escalate issues to management and adapt to changing operational or client requirements.
• Assist in training colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, dependable operator with a strong work ethic and customer‑first mindset.
• Valid forklift licence and willingness to work flexible shifts.
• Positive attitude, safe manual handling practices and high attention to detail.
• Confident IT user comfortable with warehouse systems, PCs and basic Microsoft Office.
• Strong team player who can also work independently, take initiative and train others.
• Driving licence preferred.
