Multi‑Trade Plumber – Reactive Repairs (Wokingham)

About the role

We are seeking a multi‑trade plumber for a contract position focused on reactive and response repairs across Wokingham and the surrounding area. The role involves a blend of plumbing, carpentry, tiling and decorating tasks to keep residential properties functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Remove and replace domestic bathrooms, strip tiles and patch plaster.
• Widen doorways, fit door linings and hang or re‑hang doors.
• Install level‑access shower trays on concrete or timber floors, including joist nogging.
• Fit baths, pumps (training provided), first‑ and second‑fix WC, shower units, water‑heater boilers, screens and disabled grab rails.
• Perform additional trades such as carpentry, flooring, tiling and decorating to a high standard.

Required profile

• Full, current driving licence.
• Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar environment.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to repair requests.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
