Multi‑Trade Plumber – Southampton (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a multi‑trade plumber to join a contract team delivering reactive repairs across Southampton. The role involves a mix of plumbing, carpentry, tiling and decorating tasks in residential properties.

Key responsibilities

• Isolate and remove existing domestic bathrooms, strip tiles and carry out plaster patching.
• Widen doorways, fit door linings and hang or re‑hang doors.
• Fit level‑access shower trays on concrete or timber floors, including joist nogging.
• Install baths, pumps (training provided), first‑ and second‑fix WC, shower units, WHB, screens and disabled grab rails.
• Carry out general patch repairs, tiling, flooring and decorating work to a high standard.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar trade environment.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Ability to perform at least two additional trades (carpentry, flooring, tiling, decorating) to an excellent standard.
