About the role
This part‑time position involves teaching Music and Digital Technology to secondary‑aged students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role runs every Friday from September, offering a focused environment to inspire young people through music production.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Music & Digital Technology lessons to small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Support students working towards accredited music qualifications.
- Utilise industry‑standard software such as Logic Pro, Cubase and Apple music production systems.
- Create an engaging, practical learning environment tailored to SEMH learners.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an SEMH or Alternative Provision setting.
- Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building abilities.
- Experience delivering or supporting accredited music qualifications.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Logic Pro.
- Proficiency with Cubase.
- Familiarity with Apple music production systems.
