Music Teacher – Secondary School (Ealing, London)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join a large secondary school in Ealing, London. The role starts in September on a long‑term contract and involves delivering engaging music lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring music lessons that develop performance, composition, listening and appraisal skills.
• Prepare students for GCSE Music, providing the challenge and support needed to achieve their full potential.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.
• Contribute to the wider school life through music enrichment, performances and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A relevant degree in music or a related field.
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Approachable, enthusiastic and committed to high teaching standards.
