Music Technician (part‑time, Woking College)

About the role

Woking College is seeking a part‑time Music Technician to support the Performing Arts Department during term‑time. Working 12‑15 hours per week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, you will ensure that teaching and rehearsal spaces are ready and that all music‑related equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and set up teaching spaces, rehearsal rooms and recording studios for scheduled sessions.
• Maintain, clean and service musical instruments and studio equipment on a regular schedule.
• Manage inventory, conduct equipment checks, and keep accurate records of assets.
• Assist with stock control, ordering of supplies, and replacement of worn or faulty items.
• Support staff and students in the safe and effective use of all music‑technology facilities.
